Eco Products—Compliant with Eco-design

Efforts for eco-design In the design phase of product development, we incorporate the latest energy-saving technologies into new products. The environmental impact of a product is assessed in each of the following stages: parts/materials procurement, manufacturing, distribution, use, recycling, and disposal. Eco Products are eco-friendly products designed to reduce the environmental impact of the product and its packaging materials compared to conventional products on the market. Our products are assessed over the product's life cycle against our own eco-design requirements including product size, weight, power consumption, and CO2 emissions, and those meeting our standards and higher standards qualify as Eco Products and Eco Products Plus, respectively.

Implementation of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method to quantitatively evaluate the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle. We evaluate the environmental compatibility of our products using LCA. The LCA implementation rate of our Eco Products in 2022 is 100%.
